The Opportunity A leading telecoms company is seeking an experienced Corporate Insurance Manager to join its established Insurance team.
This is a highly visible role that offers the opportunity to take ownership of the end-to-end insurance renewal process across a complex, multinational business. Working closely with senior stakeholders, brokers, insurers and shareholders, you will play a key role in ensuring the organisation maintains appropriate and cost-effective insurance coverage whilst supporting the evolving risk profile of the business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of insurance programmes spanning multiple insurance lines, negotiating policy terms and conditions, supporting emerging risk assessments and delivering high-quality reporting to senior stakeholders.
The Role Reporting to the Head of Risk & Corporate Insurance, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of the annual renewal cycle across a broad range of corporate insurance programmes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the end-to-end renewal process across multiple insurance lines and policy programmes
- Coordinating renewal submissions, data gathering and insurer information requests across the business
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, brokers, insurers and external partners
- Negotiating policy terms, conditions and coverage enhancements to ensure programmes remain fit for purpose
- Reviewing policy wordings, exclusions, endorsements and contractual insurance requirements
- Supporting the placement of new insurance programmes where required
- Assessing emerging business risks and identifying appropriate insurance solutions
- Producing renewal reports, dashboards and management information for senior stakeholders
- Supporting insurer site visits, risk surveys and annual insurance audits
- Managing insurance budgets, premiums and recoveries
- Driving continuous improvement across insurance processes, reporting and governance
Essential Experience • Proven experience managing insurance programmes from within a corporate organisation
- Hands-on responsibility for the renewal of multiple commercial insurance lines
- Strong understanding of insurance placement, policy management and coverage negotiation
- Experience working directly with brokers, insurers and senior internal stakeholders
- Ability to interpret policy wordings, exclusions, clauses and coverage limitations
- Strong reporting, analytical and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting insurance strategy within a large and complex organisation
