Are you a Control Systems Engineer, PLC Programmer or Automation Engineer looking to deepen your Siemens TIA Portal skills in a role where the technical challenge grows with you, and you can take projects from concept through to commissioning? Do you want to join a specialist engineering business working on bespoke machinery and processes used across sectors such as marine, aerospace and renewables?

On offer is a permanent, on-site position where you will receive plenty of training and long-term development as your remit grows. You'll support the full project lifecycle, with the chance to build on your controls and electrical design capability while working closely with a close-knit engineering team.

This well-established specialist manufacturer and consultancy has been operating for 20+ years and is continuing to grow, meaning they are looking to add an additional engineer to their team.

You'll also provide technical support and training to customer engineers/operators in the UK and internationally.

This role would suit a junior-to-intermediate Controls/Automation Engineer with Siemens TIA Portal PLC experience, looking for structured development, increasing technical scope, and varied project work.

The Role:

  • Designing electrical and control systems for composite moulding processes

  • PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal) and producing drawings/specifications

  • Supporting projects end-to-end: feasibility/BOMs through to commissioning and handover

The Person:
  • Controls/Automation Engineer experience with PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal essential)

  • A couple of years' experience in a controls / control systems role (open to more junior profiles)

  • Full UK driving licence and passport for travel
