This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast\-paced security environment supporting high\-profile clients across multiple industries and sectors.

Position details; Role: Control Room Operator

Location: Cork

Schedule: Weekdays and Weekends/ Days and Nights

Role Type: Permanent

Rate: €17\.07 per hour

Control Room:* Managing staff deployment/Book on and off via People Hours roster system

  • Health and Safety monitoring via People Hours/Check calls and Active Track system

  • Dispatching mobile response fleet via Service Track

  • Providing Operational support to all deployed staff members

  • Escalating and logging incidents via the Incident Tracker Platform

  • Escalating serious incidents/operational requests with the operations team

  • Conducting specific daily operational tasks

  • Working within ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ETP standards.
Operational and Administrative:* Updating and Maintaining Operational documents and platforms
  • Issuing uniform ready for dispatch to an employee to the relevant Mobile Patrol officer for delivery

  • Email daily active track report of all devices currently offline

  • Conduct vehicle tests at various times each night using the Tomtom tracker and record findings of inactivity, escalating any issues to the relevant Operations Manager

  • Compiling a shift report and forward via email to the Operations Department at the end of each shift

  • Contacting relevant sites for outstanding timesheets each Friday night

  • Maintain the Ops 197 manager on call log for all issues escalated

  • Issuing interview no letters via email notification

  • Day to Day administration (photocopying, correspondence, scanning, typing, shredding, emailing, faxing, etc as required)
Operational Scheduling:* Seeking relief cover for unplanned staff absences
  • Uploading site roster schedules

  • Confirming personnel scheduled and shifts

  • Updating and maintaining the scheduling platform\- People Hours

  • Updating/amending employee shift times when required

  • Supporting the scheduling and operations team
Skills and qualifications:

The following key skills and abilities are essential for this position, but are not limited to: Technical skills:

Proficiency in PC and Microsoft applications, such as Google Drive, Word, Excel, Power Point, People Hours, Internet and Email. Core Management/People skills:* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

  • Strong organisation and administration skills

  • Being highly organised; ability to prioritise and work to deadlines

  • Being team orientated

  • Having strong attention to detail

  • Being highly motivated, with a positive energy and enthusiasm for the Company, and for the role.

  • Having a proactive approach, constantly seeking improvements in processes and technologies, including recommending improvements from time to time.

  • Professionalism and behaving with integrity at all times
