Construo Recruitment is partnering with a well\-established commercial landscaping and environmental contractor to recruit a Landscape Contracts Manager for their North West operation based in Runcorn.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious contracts professional looking to develop their career within a growing and progressive organisation delivering landscaping, forestry, grounds maintenance, and fencing projects across the region.
The Role
Working closely with the Regional Manager, you will support the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of commercial landscaping and fencing contracts. As your experience within the business develops, you will take increasing responsibility for managing contracts from tender stage through to final completion, including client management and business development activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the planning, management, and delivery of landscaping and fencing projects across the North West
- Managing contract administration, procurement activities, site audits, and project reporting
- Coordinating with clients, site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
- Supporting the preparation of tenders, estimates, and commercial submissions
- Monitoring and promoting health and safety compliance across all projects
- Identifying opportunities for business growth with both new and existing clients
- Supporting operational and commercial performance across multiple contracts
- Minimum 3 years' experience within a Contracts Manager, Site Manager, Project Manager, or similar operational role
- Experience within landscaping, fencing, grounds maintenance, forestry, civils, or construction sectors
- Strong understanding of contract management principles and commercial delivery
- Experience preparing tender submissions and pricing works
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and documentation
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Level 5 qualification or above in a relevant discipline
- SMSTS, SSSTS, and CSCS certifications
- Experience managing multiple contracts simultaneously
- Salary of £35,000 \- £45,000 depending on experience
