Contracts Engineer

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management for engineering projects within the petrochemical, oil, and gas industry.


• Experience in Engineering and Procurement (EP) or Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects.


• Experience with lump\-sum project proposals.


• Management skills to negotiate with suppliers or clients in pursuit of win\-win agreements.


• Proactive ability to work under pressure with limited resources and time.


• Ability to work independently, focused on achieving objectives.


• Ability to work and coordinate within multidisciplinary teams to solve project issues.


• English level B2\+.

• 100% on\-site in Spain.

Principal duties

• Review documentation and communications to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.


• Support the defense against claims from vendors and subcontractors related to the project.


• Manage project scope changes and claims.


• Ensure the main contract requirements are communicated to project personnel and incorporated into purchase orders and subcontracts.
