Within Warwickshire County Council, the Employability and Skills Team commissions services and provides a number of support services, primarily supporting businesses, gathering economic needs, whilst also supporting in the creation of career opportunities linking to employment, education and skills partners.

The team engage widely with a number of external partners and stakeholders who we collaborate with to widen our reach. About the Role

Warwickshire County Council is seeking a Contract and Project Monitoring Officer to support the delivery of the Connect to Work programme across Warwickshire.

In this role, you will work closely with Programme Managers and partners to monitor projects and contracts, ensure compliance with funding and statutory requirements, and track performance, expenditure, and outcomes. You will lead on verifying grant claims, supporting audits, managing monitoring systems, and maintaining strong relationships with delivery partners and funders.

You will bring experience of project or contract monitoring, strong financial and data analysis skills, and a good understanding of grant funding, procurement, and performance reporting. Experience within employability, skills, or economic development programmes is desirable.
