CNC Turner – Contract (Inside IR35)
Location: Sheffield
Shifts: Various shifts available
Contract Length: 3 months
Pay: £30.00 – £33.00 per hour (shift-dependent)

Actio Recruitment are supporting a precision engineering business in the Sheffield area who require an experienced CNC Turner on a contract basis (inside IR35).
The Role
You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls, producing high-quality components to tight tolerances. Duties include:
- Setting and operating CNC turning machines
- Editing offsets and making adjustments at the machine
- Working from technical drawings
- Carrying out in-process inspection
- Maintaining production output across your allocated shift
We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong CNC turning experience
- Confident use of Fanuc controls
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- A reliable, professional approach suited to a busy machine shop
- Inside IR35
- 3-month contract with potential for extension
- £30–£33 p/h, depending on shift
- Multiple shift patterns available
