Contract Administrator / Project Manager

Birmingham (Hybrid / Site Based)

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contract Administrator / Project Manager to join a growing multi-disciplinary consultancy, working across Birmingham on a major long-term social housing framework with a significant pipeline of work for the next five years and beyond.

Are you a Contract Administrator with proven experience delivering construction projects from inception through to completion? Are you looking for a long-term opportunity where you can take ownership of projects, work directly with clients and progress your career?

This established consultancy has been delivering professional construction services to housing associations and local authorities across the UK for over 40 years. Due to continued growth and the award of a major framework with a local authority, they are looking to strengthen their remote team in the West Midlands.

You will lead projects as Contract Administrator and Project Manager, managing programme, cost, quality and risk while coordinating clients, consultants and contractors. Projects will span new build, refurbishment, high-rise and retrofit, with a focus on delivering substantial construction projects.

The role offers significant autonomy, including home working, and would suit a dynamic, technically confident and digitally capable individual who is comfortable managing their own workload and building strong client relationships.

The Role:

  • Act as Contract Administrator / Project Manager across social housing projects

  • Lead projects from inception to completion, managing programme, cost, quality and risk

  • Lead project meetings and coordinate clients, consultants and contractors

  • Deliver new build, refurbishment, high-rise and retrofit projects


The Person:
  • Proven Contract Administration / Project Management experience within construction

  • Technically confident, client-facing and able to challenge issues professionally

  • Looking for a long-term career with strong progression potential

  • Full UK Driving Licence
