Win as a Team

This role is within Operational Excellence and reports to the Director Operational Excellence \& Performance. This role is responsible for leading continuous improvement across Commercial Lines, driving process optimisation, efficiency and performance through structured delivery and capability development.

The role is accountable for team performance within a defined business area or specialised function, ensuring operational goals are met through effective leadership, resource planning, and process optimisation.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Owns the continuous improvement strategy, ensuring alignment to business priorities and service outcomes.

  • Leads delivery of CI programmes, prioritising activity to maximise impact.

  • Oversees CI governance, methodology and benefit tracking, ensuring consistency and measurable outcomes.

  • Leads and develops a team of CI Business Partners, building capability and driving high\-quality delivery.

  • Identifies and resolves performance issues and process inefficiencies, shaping sustainable improvements.

  • Acts as escalation point to remove delivery barriers and ensure progress.
Your skills and experience:
  • Solid experience in continuous improvement, Lean or process optimisation. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred.

  • Proven capability to deliver change and measurable benefits in complex environments.

  • Considerable leadership and coaching skills, developing teams and capability.

  • Solid analytical and problem\-solving skills, with ability to translate insight into action.

  • Experience working across matrixed, regulated organisations.
