The position is full\-time, permanent working Monday to Friday from 8\.00am to 4\.00pm

b. Duties and Responsibilities.
Technician is required to carry out the collection of contents from our customers properties and the cleaning of contents in our warehouse facilities following either a fire or a flood at private residences and/or commercial properties \-

· It requires technicians to be physically fit to enable the duties to be performed: Accordingly, while we require a willingness to carry out physical work, we also require a person who is capable of developing administrative skills of a high standard.

· To undertake cleaning and restoration of policyholders’ contents, belongings to pre\-incident conditions. Having experience within the furniture industry would be an advantage.

· To keep all contents claims details up to date on relevant information boards.

· To monitor all chemicals and cleaning materials, keep track of use and to order/advise office of stock levels for new supplies.

· To ensure all equipment is kept clean and tidy and maintained to the correct standard that is stored within the warehouse.

· To undertake training courses as required from time to time regardless of where they are being carried out – this will involve training on the Company forklift in house.

· To wear and keep clean the corporate clothing provided at all times.

· To assist in all other areas of operation as and when needed. To do any reasonable task as and when needed.

· Operating safely at all times, practicing Health and Safety procedures, and making others aware of any potential dangers of their or others’ actions.

· Other duties as required, should this be required to meet the needs of the business.

· Participate in any training the company requires you to undertake.

Full driving licence essential as you will be driving commercial vehicles to collect contents from all over the South/South West
