We are looking for an experienced Content Designer to support a large-scale communications transformation programme.
Working within an Agile multidisciplinary team, you will design and improve customer communications across letters, emails, SMS and digital channels, ensuring content is clear, accessible and user-focused.

Key Responsibilities • Design and improve customer-facing content across multiple channels.

  • Apply Content Design best practice, GOV.UK guidance and accessibility standards (WCAG).

  • Simplify complex policies, processes and business rules into clear, user-centred content.

  • Conduct content audits, reviews and assurance activities.

  • Collaborate with designers, researchers, developers and business stakeholders.

  • Facilitate workshops and support content governance activities.

Essential Skills • Proven Content Design experience within UK Government or the public sector.
  • Strong knowledge of GOV.UK style guidance and GDS Content Design principles.

  • Experience creating letters, emails, SMS and digital content.

  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).

  • Experience working in Agile delivery teams.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.

  • Strong content review, audit and assurance experience.

  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
