Consultant Psychiatrist, Child & Adolescent (attracts £25K RRP)
This job attracts a Recruitment \& Retention payment of £25,000 in addition to £8000 relocation allowance. The RRP is pro rata for part time employees.
We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Community Children \& Young People’s (CYPS) Mental Health Team.
This is an exciting opportunity, working with a unique integrated service mental health \& social care.
The service is a tier 4 prevention service. Candidate will be leading clinically consulting with care coordinators that will be offering outreach visits to homes/hospitals/schools
The service has 2 day programme running as day hospital \& a respite crisis house. You will be working alongside another consultant \& 1 or 2 resident doctors. Fully integrated Multidisciplinary Team ( MDT) using a Dialectical Behavioural Therapy ( DBT) model but all range of therapy available.

You’ll have the opportunity of working within a well\-established and friendly team of highly skilled professionals who are passionate and committed to the care needs of our children and young people.
You would be responsible for providing a diagnostic, assessment and treatment service for children and adolescents with mental health problems within a multi\-disciplinary approach to care, promoting high\-quality multidisciplinary working and relationships.
You will participate in an emergency out\-of\-hours rota, providing back\-up for junior doctors and professionals in assessing young people seen in A\&E.
You’ll have opportunities to support, supervise and train our Junior Medical Staff within the team.

NHS Consultant grade £113,565 \- £150,569 per annum \+ £149 fringe \+ on\- call requirement
