<p>We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Glasgow, Lanarkshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.</p>
<p><strong>What will your responsibilities be?</strong></p>
<p>This role involves working within a community setting, providing specialist psychiatric care to older adults. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and overseeing treatment plans, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality mental health services. The postholder will also participate in clinical meetings, supervision, and documentation in accordance with NHS standards.</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p>
<p>• GMC registration (essential)<br>• Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status<br>• Extensive experience in old age psychiatry, particularly in community settings<br>• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills<br>• A commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care</p>
