This is an Interim position for a Construction Solicitor to join a global business with offices based in Oxfordshire.

Description
The Construction Solicitor position will involve the following tasks:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction, fully familiar with the NEC suite of contracts, and procurement contracts
- Ability to manage planning permissions, building approvals, and other regulatory licences.
- Experience with real estate due diligence and documentation.
- Strong capability in contract claims management and cross jurisdiction dispute handling.
- Advisory on corporate governance, regulatory matters, and project related legal risks.
- Knowledge of health & safety, insurance, liability, and environmental obligations for construction projects.
- Strong documentation and record keeping for audits and compliance reviews.
- Providing advice on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and general corporate matters.
- Advising on health & safety, insurance, liability, and environmental issues tied to construction projects.
- Ensuring proper documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews
A successful Construction Solicitor should have:
- A strong academic background in law, with a specialisation in construction or related fields.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of NEC contracts
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction law and regulatory requirements.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
This is an Interim role for an initial period of 3 months, but with the opportunity to be extended beyond this.
Hybrid working is available- 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
