Construction QMS Systems Expert / Business Analyst

Overview:

Expleo is seeking a Construction QMS Systems Expert / Business Analyst to support a key client engagement in Dublin. This is a contract role focused on assessing, benchmarking, and recommending Quality Management System (QMS) platforms within the construction sector.

The successful candidate will bring a strong blend of construction technology expertise, advisory capability, and stakeholder engagement skills to guide a structured QMS selection and procurement process.
Responsibilities:

• Assess the client’s current Quality Management System (QMS) landscape and document “To\-Be” requirements


• Conduct market research and develop a comprehensive overview of available construction QMS platforms


• Identify and shortlist suitable solutions aligned to client needs


• Support the end\-to\-end procurement and vendor selection process, including RFP/tender development


• Facilitate supplier evaluation and scoring processes


• Provide clear, impartial recommendations based on functional, technical, and commercial criteria


• Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into business and technical outputs


• Deliver structured documentation, reports, and presentations to support decision\-making

Qualifications:

• Relevant third level qualification or equivalent work experience

Desirable* Management qualification or relevant years of experience

• Additional course or certification in Business Analysis

Essential skills:

• Strong knowledge of construction QMS platforms (e.g., Zutec, Dalux or similar)


• Solid understanding of quality management standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 19650 (BIM)


• Proven ability to lead or support system selection and vendor evaluation processes


• Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and business analysis


• Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities


• Ability to translate technical solutions into clear business recommendations

Experience:

• Demonstrable experience working with QMS solutions within the construction or built environment sector


• Hands\-on experience with implementation, advisory, or optimisation of construction technology platforms


• Background in consulting or client\-facing roles is highly desirable


• Experience supporting procurement processes including RFP/tender creation and supplier assessment


• Familiarity with the wider construction technology ecosystem and ability to benchmark competing solutions
