Construction Plant Welder/Warehouse Operative
We are looking for an experienced Construction Plant Welder / Warehouse Operative to join our Operations team.
This is a varied, hands\-on role combining welding and fabrication with warehouse and yard duties. The main focus will be MIG/MAG welding, modification, repair and finishing of excavator buckets and construction attachments, including fitting cutting edges, wear plates, side cutters, brackets and other components.
When welding demand is lower, you will support the wider warehouse and yard team with picking and packing, goods\-in and goods\-out, stock movement, loading and unloading, and forklift duties where trained.
The successful candidate will have practical welding and fabrication experience, ideally working with heavy steel, construction plant or similar equipment. You will be reliable, flexible, safety\-focused and comfortable moving between welding, workshop and warehouse duties depending on operational needs.
Previous warehouse experience and a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence would be useful, although training may be considered for the right candidate.
Pay: £40,000\.00\-£43,000\.00 per year
