ROLES \& RESPONSIBILITIES
The mission of the Compliance Analyst is to analyse the suspicious activity alerts generated by our system, to request and review all necessaries documents sent by customers and follow our internal AML/CTF policies.* Conduct detailed analysis of transactions identified as suspicious to ensure the legal and regulatory compliance of all operations.
- Review customer activity and assess system‑generated alerts to ensure alignment with internal AML/CFT policies and procedures.
- Receive, review, and assess supporting documentation submitted by agents/stores, ensuring compliance with Ria internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with agents/stores via internal systems to explain why transactions have been placed on hold and to request the necessary documentation for release.
- Handle inbound and outbound compliance‑related calls with customers.
- Support and collaborate on investigations conducted by legal or regulatory authorities.
- Prepare and submit reports to authorities outlining the findings and outcomes of detected suspicious activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ideal profile:* Bachelor's or master’s degree in Compliance, Law, or Banking.
- First experience in compliance or in customer service is a plus.
- Speaking fluently Dutch and an intermediate level of English.
- Telephone skills: high level, both written and oral.
- Good knowledge of Office365 tools, especially Excel
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Analytical thinking
We offer a full\-time contract of 12 months, with the possibility of a permanent contract. The salary is fixed and includes additional benefits, such as: A meal allowance of €8 per working day, public transport pass, pension plan, 2 days of home working, 25 vacation days, and a laptop.
Our office is in the south of Amsterdam. You will be part of a friendly team of 10 employees in our local office, as well as our European compliance department in a dynamic and multicultural environment within a growing market.
