The Role: Complex Care Support Worker
Hourly Rate: £14\.00 per hour, increasing to £14\.50 per hour once competent.
Location: DE24, Derby

Contract Type: Permanent, with immediate start available.
We offer the below contract options:
Part Time – 14\-hour contract

Shift Pattern –
Days: 9:00AM – 4:00PM or 8:00AM – 3:00PM (Depending on family needs)

DBS: Preferred / update service desirable
Driver with access to a vehicle: Essential

About the Young Person – Based in Derby

Are you ready to make a genuine difference in a young person’s life?

• You’ll be supporting a baby girl with a rare neurodegenerative genetic condition. In this role, you will provide support with epilepsy management, oral suctioning, bowel care and pump feeding.


• Spending time with her family is very important to her. She loves being with her mum and dad and enjoys seeing her grandparents. Being around her family helps her feel safe, happy and supported. She also has a cat that she loves very much.


• She enjoys listening to music, spending time with her family and playing with her teddies.


• A big part of this role is building a positive, trusting relationship — getting to know her, having fun together and providing warm, person\-centred support.

Training:

• At Josh's Care Company, we are dedicated to equipping you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become compliant in all areas of specialised care, from tracheostomy and ventilator management to postural and respiratory care, as well as PEG feeding.

• Our nurses have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of nursing and care which will ensure that you receive the highest standard of training and support possible.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking highly motivated professionals with a caring demeanour, excellent communication skills, and previous care experience, with knowledge of complex care being an added advantage. A positive attitude and friendly nature are essential attributes for this role, as you will be providing meaningful support and encouragement to enhance our people’s quality of life.

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• A current DBS if possible (paper or update service preferred)
