Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing personalised care and support to individuals with complex health needs, within their own home. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be IT literate, and have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in their care. Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised care in accordance with individual care plans, ensuring the dignity and independence of each person.
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and medication management.
- Support clients with specialised health needs, including those requiring complex medical interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, adhering to organisational policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent and high\-quality care delivery.
- Utilise IT systems to update records, manage schedules, and report any concerns promptly.
- Drive or accompany clients as required for appointments or outings, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Uphold health and safety standards within the care environment or during home visits.
- Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate client transportation needs.
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to adapt support accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- IT literacy to handle electronic records and communication tools effectively.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support individuals with complex health requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast\-paced environment.
