The Role
Laker Vent Engineering are seeking an experienced Completions Engineer to support a large industrial project in Ayrshire. The role will be heavily focused on testing, pressure test packs, completions, and handover activities, working closely with the site team to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out surveying and measuring works, including site walkovers
- Produce fabrication sheets, installation drawings, and red\-line mark ups
- Plan and monitor progress using the LVE database
- Walk lines and prepare pressure test packs
- Create snagging/punch lists and work with site teams to complete pressure testing
- Establish, report, and follow up on non\-conformance activities
- Analyse data and raise Technical Queries where required
- Update and complete fabrication sheets, as\-builts, test limits, punch packs, SI’s, and work plans
- Maintain strong working relationships with the client to support project delivery and overall client satisfaction
- Previous experience in a completions, testing, or piping/project engineering role within industrial environments
- Strong understanding of pressure testing and completions processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and test documentation
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Experience working within fast\-paced site environments
