At eternal.ag, we're building the future of sustainable food production. Backed by leading venture investors, our mission is to convert the world's existing greenhouses into fully automated facilities that can produce fresh food year\-round — helping address the need to increase food production while facing severe labour shortages, water scarcity, and climate challenges.

We're looking for a reliable, professional, and discreet Company Driver to join the eternal.ag team on a full\-time permanent basis. Based in our Cologne office, you will be the dedicated transport link between our Cologne HQ and our greenhouse sites in the Netherlands, delivering team members safely and on schedule.

You'll work closely with the Executive Assistant and CEO office, coordinating routes in advance, managing the company vehicle, and ensuring everyone gets where they need to be comfortably and on time.

This is not a passive role. You'll be a trusted part of our operations, interacting daily with senior leadership and external partners, and representing eternal.ag every time you're behind the wheel.

What you'll do

• Transport team members between our Cologne office and greenhouse sites in the Netherlands


• Run operational errands — document and equipment couriering, supply collection, and inter\-site logistics


• Coordinate daily schedules and routes in advance


• Maintain the company vehicle to a consistently high standard — cleanliness, fuelling, and regular maintenance checks


• Track vehicle service intervals and flag any issues promptly


• Remain available for occasional overnight stays near site locations when operational requirements arise


• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all business conversations and passenger information at all times


• Comply with all applicable EU and national road traffic and driving time regulations

What we're looking for

Required

• Valid EU Category B driving licence, held for a minimum of 3 years A clean or near\-clean driving record is essential (max. 3 points, Flensburg)


• Legal residency in Germany with valid work authorisation Must be registered (gemeldet) within approximately 45 minutes of Cologne city centre


• Unrestricted Schengen Area travel rights


• Role involves regular cross\-border travel into the Netherlands — this must be verified before start date


• English language proficiency — minimum B1 level (CEFR) English is our working language; you must be able to receive instructions, communicate with team members, and interact professionally with guests in English


• Willingness to travel regularly and remain overnight near site locations when required


• Ability to pass a criminal background check (Führungszeugnis) prior to start

Advantageous (not required)

• German and/or Dutch language skills Not required, but welcome — particularly useful for navigating local logistics


• Previous experience as a professional, executive, or chauffeur driver


• Experience driving larger MPV or people\-carrier vehicles (e.g. VW Touran, Renault Scenic)


• First aid certificate (Erste Hilfe / EHBO)


• Defensive driving course or advanced driver training certificate


• Experience with electric or hybrid vehicles

Note on overnight travel: This role occasionally requires overnight stays near our Netherlands greenhouse sites, particularly when multiple site visits are scheduled in a single trip. Accommodation is always arranged and fully covered by eternal.ag. The frequency is modest and will be planned well in advance wherever possible.
