COMMUNITY MANAGER \& RESEARCHER \- Strategy in Action Platform

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Community Manager \& Researcher to join the Vlerick Strategy in Action Platform to grow, nurture, and feed our community of strategy executives with inspiring content and activities.

The Strategy in Action Platform (SIAP) offers executives a place to connect with a distinctive peer network on diverse and co\-defined strategy topics, access cutting\-edge insights and world\-class academic support, and learn from fellow executives and experts through real\-world cases and testimonials.

Your mission

• Strengthen the long\-term relationship with our members by being the SPOC for members, maintaining frequent contact to discuss their needs, challenges, and opportunities, and being a connector between them.


• Organise and co\-deliver workshops, webinars and other events for the Platform. This includes defining the agenda, identifying relevant topics, business testimonials, practical cases \& academic speakers, and designing the activities to maximize impact.


• Conduct research to support the activities of the Platform. This includes desk research, data collection, data analysis, and reporting.


• Identify new leads, co\-create a pipeline of prospects with the Director of SIAP, and actively follow up to grow the community of member companies and executives.


• Gain access to relevant networks from a B2B sales perspective and represent Vlerick Business School and SIAP at network events.


• Look for new activities and business models to expand the platform and add value to members and partners.


• Develop and disseminate content for our different communication channels (website, social media, brochure…).


• Support other activities in the domain of strategy – e.g. corporate partnerships, new learning material, tailored workshops, and executive education.

You

• Have a master’s degree and a minimum of five years of relevant business experience.


• Have experience building relationships with company executives.


• Are perseverant and have a natural commercial interest.


• Have developed (or are able to develop) a network with executives in and beyond Belgium.


• Are passionate about firm strategy and have good analytical skills.


• Leverage AI tools and digital solutions to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and drive continuous innovation.


• Are customer\-oriented, proactive, with high standards of work.


• Can think creatively to come up with solutions, new ideas and better ways of working.


• Are digital savvy and fluent in English, with excellent writing skills.


• Are a good planner, able to work and follow\-up on multiple tasks in parallel.


• Can work autonomously, but are also a good team player.


• Have experience working with Excel or statistical software packages.


• Experience with Salesforce is a plus.


• Will be located on our campus in Ghent or Brussels, in combination with your home office.
