Community Care Support Worker

Role Details
Pay starts at £13\.00 per hour, with overtime available at £15\.00 per hour, up to £17\.00 per hour. Mileage between calls is paid in addition to your hourly rate.
We offer morning, evening and weekend shifts on a rota basis. Typical shift times are 7\.00am–2\.30pm and 3\.30pm–10\.30pm. As this is a community\-based role, applicants will need access to a car and a full driving licence although a walker may be considered.
This role involves providing intimate personal care to female service users. An occupational requirement applies for this post to be undertaken by a female care worker, in accordance with the Equality Act 2010\.

What You’ll Be Doing
· Supporting people with personal care and practical day\-to\-day tasks in their own homes.
· Helping with daily routines such as meals, personal grooming and medication support.
· Providing friendly companionship, reassurance and emotional support.
· Working with healthcare professionals and family members to help each person feel well supported.
· Keeping clear and accurate care records using an electronic care app.
