Job Responsibilities :

The Community \& Events Lead EMEA is accountable for building and executing Razer’s Community and event strategy while developing a high\-impact influencer and creator ecosystem across the EMEA territory. Reporting directly to the Senior Marketing Director, EMEA, this role manages a team of three and works cross\-functionally with global Brand, Product, and Commercial teams to drive measurable brand awareness, community engagement, and business growth aligned with Razer’s premium gaming DNA.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Influencer \& Creator Marketing

  • Build, manage, and continuously develop a tiered EMEA influencer and content creator pool spanning gaming, esports, lifestyle and tech verticals across YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, and X (Twitter).

  • Lead the Influencer Specialist in negotiating and managing influencer contracts, scoping deliverables, and ensuring brand\-safe, on\-brief content output.

  • Define and execute influencer campaign strategies for product launches, seasonal moments, and always\-on brand awareness initiatives; present performance data and ROI analyses to senior stakeholders on a quarterly basis.

  • Develop an affiliate and seeding program that scales creator advocacy cost\-effectively across priority EMEA markets.

  • Actively identify emerging talent and cultural trends across gaming and pop\-culture to maintain Razer’s relevance with its core audience.
Events Strategy \& Execution
  • Own the EMEA events calendar, managing end\-to\-end delivery of Razer\-hosted flagship events, major third\-party gaming expos (e.g., Gamescom, EGX, Paris Games Week…), esports tournaments, and partner activations.

  • Define event objectives, KPIs, and success metrics in partnership with the Senior Marketing Director; deliver post\-event performance reports with actionable insights.

  • Oversee all event logistics including venue procurement, production, A/V, talent management, on\-site staffing, and health \& safety compliance.

  • Develop and manage event budgets (typically €500K–€1\.5M annually), ensuring accurate forecasting, cost control, and ROI accountability.

  • Identify and negotiate partnership and sponsorship opportunities to maximize brand visibility and co\-investment at key regional events.

  • Lead the team’s Events Coordinator to ensure flawless on\-the\-ground execution for every activation, both online and offline.
People Leadership \& Team Development
  • Directly manage a team fostering a high\-performance, collaborative team culture.

  • Set clear individual objectives aligned with departmental and business goals; conduct regular 1:1s, mid\-year and annual performance reviews.

  • Identify skills gaps and development opportunities; support team members in building careers within Razer’s Marketing organization.

  • Champion diversity, inclusion, and psychological safety within the team and wider marketing function.
Agency, Vendor \& Stakeholder Management
  • Manage external events agencies, creative production houses and influencer marketing platforms; own briefing, scoping, and quality assurance processes.

  • Serve as the primary EMEA point of contact for global influencer and events initiatives, representing regional requirements in global planning cycles.

  • Perform department administrative duties including budget, strategy, and budget reconciliation.

REQUIREMENTS \& QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a relevant discipline such as Marketing, Communications, Events Management, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in events, influencer marketing, or community management, ideally within the gaming, consumer technology, or entertainment sector.

  • Proven track record managing large\-scale B2C events (both online and offline) from concept through to post\-event analysis.

  • Demonstrated experience building and operating influencer programmes with measurable ROI

  • Experience managing and developing a team of direct reporters.

  • Experience managing agency relationships and multi\-vendor project delivery.

  • Budget management experience
Skills \& Competencies
  • Deep knowledge of the EMEA gaming landscape, esports ecosystem, and creator economy.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to run multiple concurrent workstreams to tight deadlines.

  • Strong analytical mindset; able to translate data into clear insights and executive\-level reporting.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English (mandatory); proficiency in a second EMEA language (French, German, Arabic, or similar) strongly preferred.

  • Highly collaborative with a proven ability to influence and build relationships across geographies and functions without direct authority.

  • Must be a gamer – authentic passion for gaming culture is essential.
