Commissioning Engineer - Europe

ROSS Cx is seeking experienced and motivated Commissioning / Cx Engineers to join our growing team on a major Data Centre project in Denmark.

ROSS Cx supports major Data Centre and mission\-critical projects across Ireland and EMEA, delivering end\-to\-end commissioning services across electrical, mechanical, and management disciplines. Working in close partnership with contractors and clients, our team ensures critical infrastructure is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Cx Engineer – What You'll Do

• Support the delivery of end\-to\-end commissioning activities across mechanical and electrical systems on a large\-scale Data Centre project


• Carry out FWT, Benchmarking, Document reviews, IRL and schedules


• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and test procedures to ensure installations meet design intent and client requirements


• Complete and maintain accurate commissioning documentation including ITPs, test records, punch lists, and as\-built reports


• Support the process at QAQC Installation and Start\-up for Functional Performance Testing


• Coordinate with trade contractors, equipment vendors, and the wider commissioning team to keep activities on programme


• Identify and report deficiencies, track resolution, and escalate where required


• Ensure all commissioning activities are carried out in full compliance with site safety protocols and quality standards


• Support the preparation of handover documentation and O\&M records for client acceptance

• Degree or trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering — or equivalent industry experience


• 3–5 years of experience in a commissioning, QA/QC, or field engineering role on Data Centre or mission\-critical projects


• Electrically or mechanically biased, with a willingness to develop cross\-discipline knowledge


• Strong understanding of building services systems including HV/LV electrical distribution, HVAC, chilled water, UPS, and critical power


• Detail\-oriented with excellent documentation and reporting habits


• A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast\-paced, technically demanding environment


• Strong communication skills — comfortable engaging with contractors, clients, and management teams
