Elevation Recruitment Group are are seeking a highly organised and proactive Commercial Office Administrator to join our clients supportive and developing team based in Rotherham. This role would be perfect for a recent Graduate who is looking for their first professional opportunity.
This is a varied role that will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring efficient administration, excellent customer service, and smooth coordination across commercial, finance, and engineering functions. Key Responsibilities as the Commercial Office Administrator:
- Provide administrative and commercial support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the business, including managing incoming calls, emails, correspondence, meetings, calendars, and filing systems.
- Prepare and format documents, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and export documentation as required.
- Deliver excellent customer service by responding to enquiries, providing order updates, resolving issues, and maintaining accurate customer records.
- Support commercial activities through the preparation of spare parts quotations, tracking quotations, and assisting with KPI reporting, including gross and net order book data.
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and expenses while maintaining accurate records across company systems and updating CRM databases.
- Assist with reporting and data analysis activities to support business performance and decision-making.
- Coordinate office operations, including managing office supplies, arranging travel and accommodation, and liaising with external service providers such as maintenance and IT support.
- Ensure accurate document control and record keeping to support compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company procedures and data protection standards.
- Work collaboratively with Commercial, Finance, Engineering, and Operations teams to support business objectives and deliver a high standard of service.
- Previous experience in an administrative, commercial, or office-based role, but not essential.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using Sage or similar accounting software (preferred).
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
- Experience with export documentation would be advantageous, although training will be provided.
