Commercial Vehicle Technician (Level 3)

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Technician with strong mechanical and fault-finding skills gained in workshop or fleet maintenance environments. The role involves servicing, repairing, and inspecting commercial vehicles and plant equipment, ensuring vehicles remain safe, roadworthy, and compliant with legal standards.

The successful candidate will be confident working independently and as part of a busy workshop team, managing workloads effectively and maintaining a high standard of work in a fast-paced environment. Experience using diagnostic equipment and workshop management systems is important, along with a practical approach to problem solving.

A good understanding of health and safety, preventative maintenance, vehicle inspections, and transport compliance is essential. We are looking for someone reliable and adaptable who takes pride in getting jobs done properly and helping to minimise vehicle downtime. An interest in developing skills in electric and hybrid vehicle technology would also be beneficial.
