Commercial Sustainability Student Analyst

As a Student Analyst in Novonesis’ Commercial Sustainability team , you will join our commercial team within the Global Sustainability division. We work across more than 30 industries to understand what sustainability means to our customers and to translate the sustainability benefits of our biosolutions into impactful commercial value. You will become part of a diverse, inclusive, and globally connected team of sustainability professionals who collaborate closely across business areas to engage customers and drive sustainable growth.

The Role \& Your Impact

In this role, you will support the Commercial Sustainability team through analytical, creative, and collaborative work that strengthens how sustainability is used in customer engagement and commercial decision making, collaborating across industries and functions within Novonesis.

• Identify industry and market sustainability insights that support commercial growth


• Support development of sustainability value propositions for Novonesis’ biosolutions


• Build data driven presentations and commercial sustainability assets


• Contribute to customer related initiatives and internal stakeholder trainings/meetings

To succeed in this role, you bring strong analytical capabilities, curiosity, and motivation to work with sustainability as a commercial growth driver.

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree and planning to continue into a master’s program within business, marketing, economics, sustainability, environmental studies, or a related field


• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with high attention to detail


• Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English


• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others


• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

While not required, the following experiences and interests would be an advantage in this role:

• Strong interest in sustainability as a commercial and strategic enabler


• Curiosity about customer behavior, market development, and competitive insights


• Experience working with data analysis, presentations, or storytelling


• Motivation to take ownership of tasks and projects
