This is an incredible opportunity for a growth\-oriented and ambitious individual to join a well established Irish company. We’re looking for a Commercial Business Development Director to drive growth for the commercial gym equipment business division @ gymgear.You will be responsible for our commercial sales and Installation and will mainly focus on building a client base in the Irish Market, calling on gyms, leisure centres, schools, and More to Sell Our commercial range of Fitness Equipment

This role is ideal for someone who knows how to open doors, build relationships from the ground up, and close high\-value orders, but success in this role depends on your ability to take initiative, build a pipeline, and work collaboratively to win.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Drive new client acquisition, owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing the deal

  • Build and manage a high\-quality pipeline of opportunities through strategic outreach.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development, operations) to create tailored solutions for potential clients

  • Share insights from the market to help shape positioning, messaging, and strategy

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and establish connections
ABOUT YOU
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
  • Experience in new business sales, ideally within the fitness industry

  • A consistent track record of winning complex, high\-value deals in a sales environment.

  • Experience in B2C selling

  • A self\-starter mindset – comfortable working independently, with the discipline to manage your own pipeline and activity.

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision\-making at all levels.

  • Solid commercial acumen and a structured approach to pipeline management and forecasting.

  • Adept at building relationships with senior executives, stakeholders, and industry leaders.
