This field-based sales representative opportunity involves traveling to local job sites in a company-provided vehicle to inspect roofing systems, identify client needs, and recommend effective commercial roofing solutions. The sales representative will work directly with property owners and decision-makers, using industry expertise and exceptional customer service to develop lasting relationships and generate new business opportunities. Success in this sales representative position requires confidence in evaluating commercial roofing projects, communicating recommendations, and guiding customers through the sales process while maintaining a high standard of customer service. The role follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with overtime required as business demands and two Saturdays per month from April through October; 10–12 hour days are common during peak season.
Qualified candidates should possess at least two years of commercial roofing experience, one to two years of sales experience, and working knowledge of low-slope roofing systems. Applicants must be willing to climb ladders and work at heights, hold a valid driver’s license, and successfully complete a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
