Job Opportunity: Maintenance Engineer (Specialising in Roofing)

ATI Maintenance is on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team. While a large part of the role will focus on roofing, you’ll also get involved in general maintenance, building works, plumbing, and other hands\-on tasks across a wide variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out roofing repairs and installations across domestic and commercial properties


• Spot and diagnose faults in roofs and guttering


• Use power tools, hand tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently


• Assist with general maintenance, plumbing, and building work as needed


• Work as part of a team to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard


• Always adhere to safety guidelines and regulations

• Experience in roofing is essential


• IPAF \& PASMA cards required


• Strong understanding of roofing techniques and materials


• Comfortable and confident using a wide range of power tools and hand tools


• Physically fit, able to lift heavy loads and work at heights


• Experience in other trades (plumbing, carpentry, general building) is a big bonus


• Great problem\-solving skills and attention to detail


• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• This is not a standard 9–5 role — workdays can be long or short depending on the project


• While most work is local, projects can take you across England, Scotland, and Wales


• Staying away from home is sometimes required (accommodation provided)


• Weekend work is also available


• Please note: we cannot guarantee you’ll be home by 5pm every day

Job Type: Full\-time

Pay: £30,000\.00\-£35,000\.00 per year

• Roofing: 2 years (required)

• Clean Driving License (required)
