An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a close-knit team of specialist lawyers in Bristol. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse and prestigious client base, including international manufacturers, blue-chip companies, and large housing associations, providing a rich variety of work that truly stands out in the field.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Handle your own matters with an emphasis on commercial property, managing your files and making effective use of the case management system.


• Show a sound understanding and technical knowledge of property law and its principles.


• Maintain and improve client relations, manage client expectations, and effectively handle any complaints in line with company policy.


• Communicate effectively with clients and participate in marketing and networking events to support the wider team and promote the business.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 2 years’ relevant post-qualification experience in commercial property at a specialist or full-service law firm.


• Strong technical skills and knowledge in real estate acquisitions, disposals, and commercial landlord and tenant work.


• Competence in using a case management system and fully IT literate.


• Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.


• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and targets.


• Enthusiasm for participating in business development and networking, with an understanding of the importance of raising the profile of the commercial property team and the wider business.

This role supports agile working with a requirement to be in the office at least 2 days a week. The commercial property team is part of the wider Business Legal Services Department and works closely with corporate and commercial teams.
