Job Title: Commercial Painter
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Miles Platting, Manchester
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4.00pm, with an unpaid lunch break of half an hour. Overtime available and paid at time and half.
Salary: £15.00 per hour.

Falcon Group are seeking to recruit a Commercial Painter to join our Shot Blast and Painting Team.

The Role
Working at the Manchester Depot, you will be responsible for carrying out duties in relation to the preparation, shotblasting and painting of various equipment which will include but not limited to, tower cranes, pumps, containers, vehicles, crane ancillary equipment, and any external projects which may arise.
What we are looking for:
Experience and Qualifications:
- ICORR Certification in Bronze and Silver Paint or NACE equivalent.
- Experience in commercial painting.
- Experience with conventional and Airless Spray Equipment.
- The ability to use single pack/multi component materials.
- The ability to read and follow a technical data sheet.
- The ability to straighten and repair body work would be useful but not essential.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
- Flexible approach to working hours and tasks
- Commitment to safety and following company procedures
- Physically fit and confident working at height
- Positive attitude, good timekeeping, and a desire to learn and develop
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to tasks.
- Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
