We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Commercial Manager to lead our commercial operations and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing client relationships, managing contractual negotiations, and ensuring the optimisation of commercial performance across projects. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with organisational objectives.

  • Manage client relationships to foster long\-term partnerships and maximise revenue opportunities.

  • Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring favourable terms whilst mitigating risks.

  • Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost control measures are effectively applied throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with cross\-functional teams including sales, finance, and operations to deliver seamless project execution.

  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

  • Prepare detailed reports on commercial performance for senior management review.

  • Lead negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure optimal terms and conditions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior commercial management role within a relevant industry sector.

  • Strong understanding of cost control principles and financial analysis.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to develop strategic plans and translate them into actionable objectives.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

  • Proficiency in relevant software tools for project management and financial analysis.

  • A recognised qualification in business management, commerce, or related fields is desirable but not essential. This position offers a dynamic environment where strategic thinking, leadership, and commercial acumen are highly valued. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s growth trajectory while ensuring operational excellence across all commercial activities.
Pay: £34,195\.62 per year
