Commercial Manager (Interim - 12 Months)Location: London (40% hybrid working)
Rate: £550-580 per day (Umbrella) Inside IR35
Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance required

We are supporting a public sector organisation who are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to support high-profile programmes across communications intelligence and professional services on a 12-month interim contract.
This is a critical role, working closely with senior commercial stakeholders, managing complex procurements and ensuring robust commercial governance throughout the life cycle.
Your new role

  • Lead and support complex, high-value procurements end-to-end

  • Advise stakeholders on commercial strategy, routes to market, and contract management

  • Manage transactions through governance and assurance processes

  • Develop and maintain commercial pipelines, records, and savings tracking

  • Deliver commercial assurance aligned to public sector spend controls

  • Support supplier management and contract delivery across key programmes


What you'll need to succeed
  • Strong commercial/procurement experience within central government

  • Proven track record delivering complex procurements under tight timelines

  • Experience managing commercial risk and delivering value for money outcomes

  • Confident stakeholder management across senior audiences

  • Strong negotiation and governance experience
