You will operate at the centre of project delivery, influencing commercial strategy, managing risk, and ensuring strong financial outcomes across a growing portfolio.

The Opportunity
As Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of commercial performance across multiple Energy \& Industrial projects while leading a team of Quantity Surveyors.
This role requires someone comfortable operating in live, high\-risk environments where programme, cost and contractual control are critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors across Energy \& Industrial projects
- Own the commercial lifecycle across projects from tender handover to final account
- Drive robust cost control, forecasting, cashflow and reporting
- Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation and performance
- Interpret and manage complex contract frameworks (NEC, FIDIC, bespoke client forms)
- Lead variation management and maximise commercial recovery
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks across programme, scope and delivery
- Partner with Contracts Managers and project teams to ensure budget adherence
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and PQS
- Deliver clear, accurate commercial reporting to senior leadership
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- 10\+ years’ experience in commercial roles within M\&E, energy or heavy industrial projects
- Experience working on complex infrastructure, power, substation or industrial builds
- Strong understanding of contracts, risk allocation and claims management
- Proven leadership experience managing commercial teams
- Ability to operate in fast\-paced, high\-pressure project environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
