Commercial Manager – EWI Division
Part of Grafton Group Plc, Chadwick's Group is the market leader in the builder’s merchanting industry in the Republic of Ireland. The core business is through the traditional Builders Merchants division. Main brands include Chadwick's, Cork Builders Providers, Davies \& Telfords. In addition, and through organic growth and acquisitions the Group have established a range of brands which are close to the core but offer a uniquely different range of products. These include Heitons Steel, Panelling Centre, Morgans Timber, Proline \& Sitetech.
Knowledge \& Experience
- Ability to work in a high paced environment.
- Familiarity with EWI.
- Strong commercial and strategic acumen.
- Ability to reach and exceed sales targets.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal \& external stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient I.T. skills required on Microsoft suite is essential.
- People management experience.
- The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer creative solutions.
- Manage all aspects of the Chadwick's EWI business.
- Sales \& margin targets.
- Health \& Safety Awareness \- ensure that Company Health \& Safety Regulations are strictly adhered to.
- Be responsible for the safety of staff and customers.
- Manage key accounts through stakeholder engagement
- Drive business growth through efficient ways of working
- Maintain a high customer service standard ensuring all customers are dealt with in an efficient and effective manner.
- Ensure employees are appropriately trained to deal with customers.
- Be responsible for all equipment and carry out regular stock checks.
- Take responsibility, as requested, for the development and implementation of EWI/retrofit strategic and business plan, involving regular consultation with Senior Management.
- Work closely with National sales teams
- Ensure all company policies are implemented accordingly.
