Senior Litigation Solicitor/Senior Associate/Partner

Wokingham | 8+ PQE | £70,000–£95,000+

well-established and highly regarded law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join its growing Wokingham team.

The role is open to candidates from 8+ PQE, with those operating at Senior Associate or Partner level, typically 10+ PQE, also encouraged to apply. The level and package will be dependent on experience, seniority and the contribution the successful candidate can make to the continued growth of the department.

The Role

You will handle a broad range of civil and commercial litigation, with particular emphasis on:

• Insolvency


• Contentious probate


• Contractual disputes


• Commercial disputes, including shareholder, partnership and directors' disputes


• Consumer disputes

Experience in personal injury or medical negligence would be advantageous but is not essential.

You will manage your own caseload from instruction through to resolution, including negotiation, mediation and court proceedings, while providing clear, practical and commercially focused advice.

At the more senior level, there will also be scope to support the development of the department, supervise junior lawyers and contribute to business development and client growth.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• 8+ years' PQE in litigation


• Strong experience in insolvency and commercial litigation


• A proven track record of managing a varied litigation caseload


• Strong advocacy, negotiation and client management skills


• Excellent organisation and case management abilities


• The confidence to work independently and as part of a team


• Experience supervising and mentoring junior colleagues


• A commercial and proactive approach to business development

Candidates at 10+ PQE with Senior Associate or Partner-level experience are particularly encouraged to apply where they are looking for an opportunity to play a more senior role within an established and growing team.
