Yolk Recruitment is working with a highly regarded national law firm to recruit a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its established team in Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded litigator looking to take the next step in their career, joining a collaborative team handling a broad range of complex and high-quality disputes for commercial and corporate clients.

You'll manage your own caseload while working alongside experienced Partners and colleagues on larger, more complex matters. With a strong reputation in the market and a supportive team environment, this role offers an excellent platform to develop your expertise, build client relationships and progress your career.

The Role

You'll be involved in a varied range of commercial disputes, including:

• Contractual disputes and professional negligence claims.


• Banking and financial disputes.


• Intellectual property and defamation matters.


• Fraud and procurement disputes.


• Partnership and shareholder disputes.


• Managing your own caseload from initial instruction through to resolution.


• Supporting senior colleagues on complex, high-value and large-scale litigation.


• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through clear, commercially focused advice.


• Contributing to business development initiatives and the continued growth of the team.

About You

We're keen to hear from solicitors who have:

• Experience in general commercial litigation.


• Strong technical, analytical and drafting skills.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• A proactive and pragmatic approach to resolving disputes.


• The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.


• A strong commitment to client service and developing lasting relationships.


• Commercial awareness, initiative and a genuine enthusiasm for litigation.
