We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Commercial Growth Manager to lead the growth of Creo Design by generating new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our client portfolio.

Purpose of the Role

The Commercial Growth Manager will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities for Creo Design, building strong client relationships, and driving the commercial growth of the business.

This role requires a proactive, self\-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping businesses achieve their goals through innovative design and marketing solutions.

Core Responsibilities

*Business Development \& Sales Growth*

  • Identify and target new business opportunities across key sectors including construction, professional services, education, hospitality, manufacturing, and SMEs.

  • Generate leads through networking events, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, referrals, industry partnerships, and direct sales activity.

  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to proposal and close.

  • Present Creo Design's services confidently and professionally.

  • Convert opportunities into long\-term client relationships.

  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve agreed sales and revenue targets.

  • Develop relationships with complementary businesses and industry partners to create referral opportunities.

  • Identify opportunities for collaboration across the wider SOD Group.
*Client Relationship Management*
  • Understand client challenges and business objectives.

  • Recommend tailored solutions including branding and rebranding, website design and development, digital marketing, SEO and content creation, graphic design and creative services, videography and promotional video production, and animation and motion graphics services.

  • Represent Creo Design at networking events, exhibitions, and business meetings.

  • Build and maintain long term relationships with decision makers.

  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through additional services and ongoing support.

  • Work closely with the delivery team to ensure exceptional customer experience.
*Marketing \& Brand Growth*
  • Act as an ambassador for Creo Design and the wider SOD Group.

  • Support marketing initiatives and campaigns that increase awareness of the business.

  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends.

  • Identify emerging opportunities and target markets.
*Workflow \& Operational Management*
  • Maintain accurate records of all activity within the CRM system including calls, emails, meetings, opportunities, proposals and client updates.

  • Produce regular reports on pipeline activity, conversion rates, revenue performance and forecast opportunities.

  • Prepare professional proposals and quotations tailored to client requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions and costings.

  • Manage workload effectively with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative and accountability for achieving targets.
Experience \& Requirements

*Essential*

  • Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management.

  • Strong track record of generating new business and achieving targets.

  • Excellent communication and relationship\-building skills.

  • Experience in presenting and negotiating with clients.

  • Commercially minded with a consultative sales approach.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
*Desirable*
  • Experience within design, marketing, digital agencies, or creative industries.

  • Existing business network within Scotland.

  • Knowledge of branding, website development, and digital marketing services.
Driving

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Pay: £32,000\.00\-£42,000\.00 per year
