Commercial Gas & Service Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Gas \& Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintenence of gas boilers, Pumps, Flue Systems and other equipment.

This role requires a strong understanding of gas safety regulations and the ability to work independently while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Duties

• Install, service, and repair gas appliances, including boilers, cookers, and fires.


• Conduct thorough inspections of gas systems to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.


• Diagnose faults in gas appliances and systems, providing effective solutions for repairs.


• Maintain accurate records of work carried out, including service reports and compliance documentation.


• Liaise with clients to provide advice on gas safety and appliance maintenance.


• Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices to ensure high\-quality service delivery.


• Adhere to health and safety guidelines while working on\-site.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in Gas Engineering (e.g., Gas Safe Register certification).


• Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of gas appliances.


• Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and standards.


• Excellent problem\-solving skills with the ability to work independently.


• Good communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.


• A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between job sites.
