THE TEAM
Our Network team sits at the heart of easyJet, shaping where we fly and how we maximise the value of our network. Within this, the Network Strategy team focuses on long term planning, capacity deployment, and ensuring our fleet is optimised across the network.
You’ll work closely with teams across Operations, Scheduling, Airport Development, and beyond, giving you real exposure to how easyJet plans and delivers its flying at scale.
THE ROLE
As Commercial Fleet and Operations Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in maximising the utilisation and profitability of our fleet of over 300 aircraft. You will manage the commercial availability of aircraft in each base – including within season aircraft phasing and gauge allocation – across all three easyJet AOCs.
You’ll act as the bridge between commercial, operational, and fleet planning teams, ensuring aircraft availability aligns with demand and strategic priorities. Alongside this, you’ll lead the process for introducing new routes and network points, ensuring they are commercially sound and operationally ready.
Key responsibilities include:
\> Owning and managing the commercial fleet allocation plan across a rolling 24\-month horizon.
\> Defining aircraft availability assumptions by base, gauge, and AOC to support network planning.
\> Maximising fleet utilisation and financial performance through analysis and continuous optimisation.
\> Partnering with Fleet Planning, Scheduling, and Operations to align plans and improve efficiency.
\> Leading allocation decisions for key aircraft types, including A320neo and A321\.
\> Tracking utilisation trends and identifying opportunities or risks to performance.
\> Supporting strategic fleet projects such as retrofits, leasing decisions, and future fleet planning.
\> Coordinating the end to end process of launching new routes and airports, ensuring full stakeholder alignment.
Requirements of the Role WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for someone who combines strong analytical capability with commercial awareness and the confidence to influence across a broad stakeholder group;
\> Advanced MS Excel capability and experience working with multi\-variable datasets.
\> Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and the ability to build and interpret models.
\> Strong commercial mindset with an understanding of cost, demand, and return on investment.
\> Ability to work effectively with ambiguity and drive clarity in complex situations.
\> Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence decisions.
\> Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast moving environment.
\> Confident communicator, able to present insights and recommendations clearly.
\> A genuine interest in aviation and the European short haul market.
\> Experience in airline fleet planning, network, scheduling, or a related field is highly desirable.

PRACTICALITIES
This full\-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time per month in the office.
