Robert Half is partnering with a leading international consumer products business in the appointment of a Commercial Finance Manager.

This is a rare opportunity to work as the key finance partner to the Managing Director, playing a critical role in shaping commercial strategy, driving profitability and influencing business performance across a growing and dynamic organisation.

We're looking for an ambitious, commercially focused finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced product-led environment and enjoys being at the centre of business decision-making.

The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Commercial Finance Director and partnering the MD, you will provide commercial insight, challenge and support across the business. You will help identify growth opportunities, improve profitability and ensure financial considerations are embedded in strategic and operational decision-making.

This is far more than a traditional finance role. You will be a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, working closely with sales, operations, procurement and leadership teams to drive performance and deliver sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities • Act as the principal finance business partner to the Managing Director and senior leadership team.

  • Deliver insightful financial analysis to support strategic and commercial decision-making.

  • Drive budgeting, forecasting and planning processes.

  • Analyse business performance, customer profitability and product margins.

  • Identify commercial opportunities and risks, recommending actions to improve results.

  • Support pricing strategies and margin enhancement initiatives.

  • Evaluate new business opportunities, products and commercial investments.

  • Develop and improve reporting, KPIs and management information.

  • Challenge and influence senior stakeholders to improve commercial outcomes.

  • Support the delivery of business growth plans and profitability targets.

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong combination of financial expertise and commercial acumen.

Essential Requirements • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience in a product-based business is key.

  • Proven experience in a Commercial Finance Manager, Finance Business Partner or similar commercial finance role.

  • Strong understanding of product profitability, pricing and margin management.

  • Demonstrable commercial awareness with the ability to spot opportunities and drive value.

  • Confidence managing and influencing senior stakeholder relationships.

  • Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when required.
