Commercial Executive
This is a hands\-on commercial role combining sales, marketing, account management and business development. You will manage inbound enquiries, create outbound campaigns, develop new business opportunities, support existing customers and help expand our network of distributors and partners. You will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and play a key role in helping Matoha scale internationally. The successful candidate will be comfortable dissecting our target markets analytically, speaking with customers, running demonstrations, managing a sales pipeline and closing deals. As we are a small company (3 person sales team), you will be involved in all aspects of sales – from lead generation, marketing to CRM and invoicing admin, etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales \& Business Development (handle and qualify enquires, videocalls with customers to understand their needs and challenges, develop partnerships and support international growth)
- Account Management (manage customer relationships, support customers)
- E\-commerce \& Commercial Growth (help maintain e\-shop, customer databases, email and other marketing)
- Commercial operations (CRM, invoicing, payments)
- Events \& Industry Engagement (attend and represent the company at trade fairs and other events) – e.g. we frequently exhibit abroad (Europe, US)
- Demonstrated competence in B2B sales
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in outbound sales campaigns
- Organised, disciplined with strong admin skills
- Confident presenting over video and in person
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Experience using CRM systems
- Self\-motivated and inquisitive
- Strong commercial awareness
- Experience in recycling, sustainability or manufacturing sectors
- Experience with technical products
- Experience managing distributors
- Experience with e\-commerce platforms
- Inbound leads are contacted and qualified quickly
- Opportunities are progressed and converted consistently
- Targeted outbound campaigns are created and achieve desired effects
- Admin (e.g. invoice / quote sending) and CRM data kept accurate and up to date
- Sales targets are achieved
- Strengthen existing and build new lasting relationships with large corporate customers
- Renewals and repeat business increase
