Commercial Excellence Developer

Do you enjoy automating processes, turning data into business value, and challenging the status quo? Are you motivated by solving complex problems and building tools that help an entire organisation make better decisions? Then you might be our next Commercial Excellence Developer.

You will join our Commercial Excellence team, a group of dedicated specialists working to optimize pricing, assortment, forecasting, and commercial processes across Whiteaway Group. We act as both a development and support function within the Commercial Department, combining analytical thinking, business understanding, and technical expertise to create scalable solutions that drive performance.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Own the development and continuous improvement of our external F\&R system (Perito), acting as the key link between business stakeholders and external development partners.


• Develop and maintain Excel\-based tools, VBA solutions, and Power Automate workflows that improve commercial processes and decision\-making.


• Design and optimize data flows, reporting, analyses, and automations using SQL, Python, R, and related technologies to create scalable business solutions.


• Translate business needs into prioritized development initiatives while collaborating closely with stakeholders across Commercial, IT, and external partners.

• You are comfortable working with stakeholders across business and technical teams and value collaboration to build alignment and shared outcomes.


• You are analytical by nature and enjoy using data to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve business performance.


• Strong Excel skills are an advantage, including familiarity with VBA and experience supporting or improving tools and automations used in business processes.


• You have a good understanding of business systems and data flows. Experience with forecasting, replenishment, pricing, or other commercial processes is an advantage.


• Experience with SQL and familiarity with Python and/or R is an advantage.
