About the Opportunity We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, growing organisation for a Commercial Contracts Manager to join its collaborative commercial and legal team.

The Role Working closely with commercial, legal, sales, procurement and operational teams, you will provide practical, commercially focused contract support across the business. You'll play an important role in negotiating agreements, improving contract processes, managing commercial risk and supporting colleagues across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities • Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including:
B2B goods and services agreements

Partner and introducer agreements

Supplier and vendor terms and conditions

Other commercial documentation as required

  • Provide commercially sound recommendations aligned with business objectives.

  • Review and enhance existing contract templates to reflect business needs and regulatory developments.

  • Develop new templates, procedures and supporting documentation for new products and services.

  • Create and maintain contract playbooks, guidance notes and other supporting resources.

  • Ensure contractual service level commitments are realistic and deliverable.

  • Conduct contract reviews in collaboration with senior commercial and legal colleagues.

  • Escalate legal issues appropriately and work closely with senior stakeholders where required.

  • Support the continuous improvement of contracting processes, systems and tools.

  • Advise Sales, Business Development, Procurement and other internal teams on commercial contract matters.

  • Manage contract queries efficiently, providing timely support to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Investigate and help resolve commercial disputes and complaints using a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.

  • Identify commercial risks and recommend practical mitigation strategies.

  • Provide guidance, coaching and technical support to colleagues across the commercial contracts function.

  • Deliver training to support the ongoing development of the wider team.

  • Lead or contribute to commercial and cross-functional projects.

  • Maintain contract template libraries and implement approved updates.

  • Ensure work is delivered to agreed quality, volume and service level standards.

About You We're interested in candidates who can demonstrate:
  • Experience drafting, reviewing and ideally negotiating commercial contracts.

  • Strong commercial judgement and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.

  • Excellent written communication and negotiation skills.

  • The ability to build effective working relationships across multiple business functions.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Confidence identifying commercial risks and recommending practical solutions.

  • A collaborative approach and willingness to share knowledge with colleagues.

Experience We are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, including those who have worked within in-house legal teams, commercial contracts functions or related commercial environments.
