Commercial & Competition Legal Counsel – German speaking (32-40 hrs)

Are you a German\-speaking, commercially minded Legal Counsel with a strong interest in competition and commercial law?

In this role, you will support our Dutch organization and 17 European legal entities, with a primary focus on the DACH region. You will play an important role in protecting Applied Medical's competitive position across international markets by providing strategic legal guidance on commercial contracting, competition law, market access issues, and competitive market practices while partnering closely with our field\-based Sales team, Sales Management based in Amersfoort, Legal Counsels based at our Global HQ in California, and external counsels.
Success requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a balance of confidence and kindness, and a self\- driven approach. *This position is based in our European Headquarters in Amersfoort (NL) and reports to the Senior Legal Counsel. You will join an international, collaborative and relatively informal working culture with the highest moral integrity.* Main responsibility:
- Draft and review commercial (supply) agreements with the healthcare organizations that purchase our products in DACH area
- Advise on miscellaneous legal topics in the DACH region as corporate, advertising law and employment law.
- Advise the business on EU and national competition law matters, including bundling, tying, exclusivity arrangements, rebate schemes and abuse of dominance concerns. Assess competitor activities and market practices that may impact fair competition, market access or customer choice.
- Support and coordinate litigation and competition law investigations, including management of external counsel, evidence collection and case preparation.
Requirements
- University Law degree (LL.M.)
- A least 5 years of relevant experience as a legal professional in a law firm or multinational company
- Experience working in an international environment
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken

- This is mainly an on\-site role with hybrid options
