Commercial Catering Engineer ( Full Time )

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Commercial Catering Engineer to join our team on a full\-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing commercial catering equipment across various client sites. Duties

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on commercial catering equipment including ovens, fryers, dishwashers, and refrigeration units.


• Diagnose faults using schematics and technical manuals, ensuring efficient resolution of issues.


• Work with small teams during installation or repair projects, providing guidance and supervision where necessary.


• Install new equipment in accordance with health and safety standards and client specifications


• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, utilising specialised tools and diagnostic equipment.


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs undertaken, and parts utilised


• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations and company policies.

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance.


• Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and manuals effectively.


• Proficiency in diagnosing faults in complex systems such as refrigeration, air conditioning, and electrical components.


• Knowledge of construction practices related to commercial kitchen installations.


• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.


• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.


• A recognised qualification in engineering ie Comcat 1,3, 5\.
