Commercial Adjuster

A well-respected and established loss adjusting practice is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Loss Adjuster to join its team in Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused adjuster to manage a varied portfolio of commercial property and business interruption losses, typically up to £100,000.

Key Responsibilities

• The Commercial Loss Adjuster will manage a portfolio of commercial insurance claims from initial instruction through to settlement.


• Handle commercial property losses, including material damage and Business Interruption (BI) claims.


• Investigate and validate claims, establishing policy coverage and quantum.


• Liaise effectively with insurers, brokers, policyholders, loss assessors and other stakeholders.


• Prepare detailed reports and provide clear recommendations to insurers.


• Negotiate settlements and ensure claims are progressed efficiently and professionally.


• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver a consistently high level of service.


• Manage workloads effectively while maintaining technical and regulatory standards.

Excellent salary plus performance-related bonus.
