Commercial Account Handler

Must have’s • Previous experience within commercial insurance or an insurance brokerage environment

• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and policy administration


• Experience managing renewals from initial information gathering through to presenting options


• Excellent customer service and account management skills


• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal


• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail


• Good numerical, analytical, and IT skills


• Ability to manage workloads, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines


• A proactive and professional approach to client service

Nice to have’s • Knowledge of cyber, professional indemnity, commercial property, combined liability, or medical malpractice insurance

• Experience using broker management systems


• Cert CII qualification or currently working towards CII accreditation

So, what will you be doing? • Managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients

• Handling day-to-day client enquiries and policy servicing activities


• Processing mid-term adjustments and policy documentation


• Preparing and managing policy renewals


• Obtaining, reviewing, and comparing quotations from insurers


• Liaising with insurers and underwriters to negotiate terms and obtain competitive solutions


• Supporting claims notifications and assisting with claim progression


• Ensuring clients maintain appropriate levels of cover for their risk profile


• Maintaining accurate client records and documentation


• Identifying opportunities to improve cover or enhance policy terms


• Providing administrative and account management support to the wider team
